This episode covers a topic that has been widely discussed recently. What mainly inspired this conversation was the incident that occurred with Hip Hop Rappers, Meg The Stallion and Tory Lanez. We live in a society that holds a lot of implicit bias towards BIPOC. This implicit bias impacts almost every aspect of our daily lives. We live in a society where black women feel muted. My lovely guest and I express our frustrations, share some alarming facts about black women in health care, and the racism that is still present in the healthcare system.
